NRA National Police Shooting Competition (NPSC) - PPC Shotgun Match

This shotgun match is enjoying a growing popularity amongst PPC shooters.  It's origins are plucked from the National Police Shooting Competitions held annually in Jackson, MI.

Basic equipment: 12 gauge "Duty/Tactical" pump or semi-automatic shot gun.  In the spirit of the match, the firearm should be  something that would be available for Law Enforcement use.  We restrict the sighting systems to Iron Sights or Ghost Ring, (no RED dot, HOLO sights or scopes).  Pistol grips and composite or folding stocks are completely acceptable.  Again, in the spirit of the match,  no choking changes are permitted.  Pick a choke setting if you have an adjustable or removable choke, and stick with it for the entire match.  We suggest Improved Cylinder for this match.

Ammunition:                  10 rounds of 12 gauge 00 buckshot / 9 pellets per shell

10 rounds of 12 gauge slugs

five (5)  B27 targets in 10 seconds.  One round per target, left to right or right to left engagement.
