We encourage all shooters to take a new look
at the PPC sport and to join the growing ranks of Canadian shooters, young and
old, who have
made this sport their primary shooting focus. CPCA Affiliation: Waterloo
County Revolver Association is an affiliated member of the Canadian
Police Combat Association - Canada's governing body for the PPC sport. From
time to time, WCRA will host sanctioned tournaments using the "1500"
course of fires as outline by the CPCA rulebook on our 50 yard range using official targets. The scores fired at these matches are submitted for
official records keeping and count towards classification purposes. CPCA
events are open to all CPCA members (membership is $35/year and available at the
match). Through the CPCA, members are linked and ranked with the
WA1500 - International PPC Body. The CPCA organizes local, regional, provincial
and national championship tournaments. Those not familiar with the PPC sport are
encouraged to read the CPCA
Rulebook
or WA1500
online resource prior to match day. On range instruction will also be available.
